CO2 EXTRACTION/GENERATION FOR SOFT DRINK BOTTLERS

The global consumption of soft drinks is increasing. To keep up competitiveness, soft drink bottlers need reliable and high-performing CO2 plants. CO2 is crucial for delivering sparkling beverages. With on-site CO2 generation, you never have to worry about an insufficient supply of purified, food-grade CO2, potential volatile pricing, or even a CO2 shortage crisis. With our extraction/generation-based solution or our Advanced Amine Technology, you are securing your CO2 supply. We aim to deliver you the most valuable system for your specific needs, suitable for your specific production facility. We offer different technology platforms designed with a focus on the lowest utility consumption, efficient output, and a safe end-product to ensure that sparkling sensation in your beverages.

AT PENTAIR UNION ENGINEERING WE PROVIDE TWO TYPES:

CO2 capture plants (AAT-plant or EBU)
Our advanced CO2 capture technologies can be used to capture and purify CO2 from any fuel-based flue gas, be it from boilers, turbines, or combustion engines. Instead of venting your exhaust gas into the atmosphere, the flue gas is the source for our CO2 capture plants that reduce your site’s carbon footprint. Turning a waste stream into a valuable product to utilized on-site in your bottling process, our CO2 capture plants are an integral part of a sustainable production process.

Self-generating CO2 plants (CBU)
Our self-contained and self-generating plants generate CO2 from the combustion of fuels, such as light fuel oil, kerosene, or natural gas.

The fully automatic operation, combined with the latest technologies, ensures a highly efficient production process at low utility costs. Most importantly, the food-grade CO2 exceeds common quality standards for the final CO2 product (e.g. ISBT).
