In beer and beverage production, the amount of dissolved carbon dioxide (CO₂) plays a crucial role in determining the quality and taste of products.
For breweries and soft drink manufacturers who need to closely monitor and measure CO₂ levels during production to ensure consistent flavor and texture, the portable and accurate Pentair Haffmans Intelligent CO₂ Gehaltemeter, type i-DGM was developed.

HOW IT WORKS

When taking a beverage sample, an equilibrium is established, followed by the measurement of pressure and temperature.
The dissolved CO₂ content is electronically calculated and displayed via the i-DGM device screen. Data can be securely transferred to a computer using an interface cable for further analysis.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION

The Pentair Haffmans Intelligent CO₂ Gehaltemeter, type i-DGM, can be used for either at-line measurement and within a laboratory:
- Perform a measurement from the production process (directly from process lines, vessels, tanks, or kegs).
- Measure quality parameters in the laboratory by sampling from a variety of bottles or cans using this device.
